I like the idea of not viewing others in our filed as the "enemy." I think there is power in numbers and would like to team up with other coaches to work on ways to get the word out about coaching and all its benefits. I still think people view coaching as a nice thing and not the powerful impact it can have on their lives.
Yes ... I am a show mom. Here in Maine, my daughter (the rider) is back at an indoor facility for Feb and Mar, then starts cross country training in April for the May 1 show season start. She (and I) go all summer long until Oct 1. I've made alot of great friends ... even as a "non-rider". The horses - and all the jack russell terriers that go along with them - are therapeutic for me. Love them!!
